Regular needlework classes are held at Craft Frames. They are taught by Melissa, who completed a 3 year apprenticeship at the Royal School of Needlework followed by 3 years as the Technical Assistant to the Head of Workroom. General classes Any traditional embroidery techniques can be covered including stumpwork, blackwork, goldwork, embroidery, hardanger, pulled and drawn thread work, silk shading, canvas work, whitework, cross stitch etc. Suitable designs are available in most techniques. Alternatively, bring work with which you would like help. It would be helpful if you could let us know what you intend to bring or the technique you wish to cover before the class. Please telephone to check availablity of class spaces. You will then need to send payment to confirm your place on the class. The maximum class size is 10. Class times - 10am to 4pm (lunch break - 1pm to 2pm) The class fee £35.00. This does not include materials - a list is available for each technique or items can be purchased on the day. Private tuitation can also be arranged for £35.00/hr. Students are reminded that they are liable for their class fee if they cancel their booking for whatever reason and we are unable to fill the space. Tea or Coffee is provided at £1 per day.
